“Lest we Forget”

Kym Hart: “Lest we forget”, original oil painting, 2023

A tribute to the fallen Angels that sacrificed so much for all of us.  I have never done a painting like that, but somehow felt this year it is time for me to try and immortalize some of the ANZAC spirit on a canvas. That’s the least I can do as a painter I guess. I called it No1 as I promise I will do one like this every year from now on for ANZAC day.
